Dear Tigard Covenant Church Family,

Based upon recommendations from Oregon’s governor and the CDC we will not have any “on-site” services at Tigard Covenant Church including our regular Sunday service until further notice. Exception Food Pantry Will Still Operate Tuesdays 12PM-2PM

 All the activities planned for Easter weekend are canceled – no Good Friday Service, no Easter egg Hunt and No Easter Sunday service. We will no longer have Easter choir rehearsals on Thursdays and there is no Tuesday evening Prayer/Bible Study until further notice.

WAYS YOU CAN STAY CONNECTED

We will live stream services, Sundays at 10:00AM so we can stay connected as a church body. You can view this on the Tigard Covenant Church Facebook page.  https://www.facebook.com/groups/TigardCovenantChurch/ .

Also, we are also videorecording the service and you can view that at 6:00PM Sunday evening and by visiting our church website https://tigardcovenant.org  or visiting YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/user/TCCVID

Please continue giving by either mailing your gift to the church office:

or using the Pushpay app on your android or apple phone or by visiting the
Pushpay website (https://pushpay.com/pay/tigardcovenantchurch )

We are in the process of contacting each person in our church body to make sure we all have what we need to get through this challenge so if you are in need of anything please do not hesitate to call

Alvin (503-877-0803) or
Deborah (503-502-1646)

and we will do our best to help in any way we can. There are a team of people in our church ready to help when needed.

We will communicate regularly with you through out this period and look forward to gathering together when the restrictions are lifted.

While Pastor David is on sabbatical,we have contacted him because of this emerging situation and he is in full agreement. He will be addressing the congregation by video on our church website in the next couple of days.

The health and safety of our members and guests is of great concern to us. A member who attended last Sunday has developed symptoms of COVID-19. Please understand that we must respect the privacy of this member, who needs and covets your prayers. The member has been tested and when the results are available (it may take up to a week) we will communicate the results. Please understand this is not a confirmed case.Whether you attended the service or not, all of us should remain vigilant. If you or anyone in your home show symptoms of the corona virus contact your health care provider for advice. For general advice on what to do if you think you are sick and how to protect yourself, follow there commendations of the CDC. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/index.html?CDC_AA_refVal=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.cdc.gov%2Fcoronavirus%2Findex.html.

Lastly and most importantly, please take some time this week to meditate on this Scripture. God is with us and He will never leave us or forsake us.

Psalm 91

Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
    will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
    my God, in whom I trust.”

Surely he will save you
    from the fowler’s snare
    and from the deadly pestilence.
He will cover you with his feathers,
    and under his wings you will find refuge;
    his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
You will not fear the terror of night,
    nor the arrow that flies by day,
nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,
    nor the plague that destroys at midday.
A thousand may fall at your side,
    ten thousand at your right hand,
    but it will not come near you.
You will only observe with your eyes
    and see the punishment of the wicked.

If you say,“The Lord is my refuge,”
    and you make the Most High your dwelling,
10 no harm will overtake you,
    no disaster will come near your tent.
11 For he will command his angels concerning you
    to guard you in all your ways;
12 they will lift you up in their hands,
    so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
13 You will tread on the lion and the cobra;
    you will trample the great lion and the serpent.

14 â€œBecause he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him;
    I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
15 He will call on me, and I will answer him;
    I will be with him in trouble,
    I will deliver him and honor him.
16 With long life I will satisfy him
    and show him my salvation.”

Blessings,
