Words Of Life: “Season of Lent” – March 8th 2018

This week’s Words of Life: Season of Lent

The season of Lent is when we commemorate the death and resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We are studying a passage of scripture in John 3:14 this week that says the Son of Man must be lifted up. Jesus was lifted up on a cross and died for the sins of all humanity. We remember each and every day, particularly during the season of Lent, that Jesus died for our sins. This week, I was talking with a friend of mine about this very fact. We both made it personal and declared that Jesus died for our sins even though we didn’t deserve His love. We were headed for destruction, but Jesus saw our plight and our dilemma; He did something about it. Jesus died for my friend and me. Do you realize that He died for you? Do you know how much He really loves you? Receive His love and be blessed. Decide this very moment to start living fully for Him . You will never be the same. Life will be new and wonderful each and every day for the rest of your life.
