Words of Life: “The Rescue” – May 30th 2017

Words of Life for this week are:“The Rescue”
People are in dire circumstances around the world and here in the United States. Some people are homeless. Some are in need of food. Some people have been enslaved in human trafficking and others are very sick. Jesus addresses the hurting people of the world with a wonderful response. “Come unto me all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn of me for I am gentle and humble in heart and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Mt 11:28-30. These are comforting words coming from our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He looks with compassion on all the people of the world that are suffering and brings an answer. We are a part of that answer. We are his arms and legs of love. We are called to go and reach the lost and hurting peoples of the world. It starts right where you are. Look for people that come across your path that need help and do something good to help. God will lead you and tell you what to do. All you need is a willing heart and obedient spirit to RESCUE someone.
