Praising God is something that comes with joy for the Spirit filled believer. Every time I take the time to praise the Lord, my heart and my countenance is lifted up and I feel better. I also sense the presence of the Lord in my life when I praise him. There are so many ways and reasons to praise him. We praise in song, we praise him in the sanctuary with the saints of God, we praise him in prayer, we praise by how we live and what we say and finally we praise him by mentioning the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. The reason why we praise him is because he loves us and saved our souls and gives us eternal life. Give God the praise regularly and see how it will change your life for the better. Psalm 147 says, ” Praise the Lord. How good it is to sing praises to our God, how pleasant and fitting to praise him”.
